Well, hello!

I'm Renée

Small Beginnings

I entered the world of mental health in early 2012 while working alongside former foster youth and providing biblical guidance services through my church. Since then, I have gained my M.A. in Professional Counseling and I have worked for Child Protective Services, private counseling clinics, and government-run, public behavioral health clinics. My passion is found at the intersection of mental health and faith with my focus on constant learning, neuropsychology, and linguistics. Remedy House is the hub for all the ways I contribute to these areas.

Awareness, Curiosity, Community

Because of and in addition to my faith in Jesus Christ, everything I do is undergirded by these three principles.  Awareness allows us to understand what we need and who we are. Curiosity helps us approach what exists without judgment. Community is essential to our mental health and where we are known. Bound together, these things allow us to orient our minds toward growth and health.
